The following are sayings I have offered in my travels to patients, hope they might resonate in readers who are patients and providers:
The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Before we can save others, we ourselves must be safe.
Surround yourself with people who are supportive, sympathetic, and stable.
Deed, not words, are what define us.
Consistency is the hallmark of success.
Trust is earned, not assumed.
Zero tolerance for abuse. Period.
If you want to get better, take a pill, but if you want to get it right, face the truth.
Look at them as affirmations, if it helps. Happy Holidays, or, for me, Happy Festivus!!!
Two thumbs up!!
